We're Back!
Woohoo! Yes, well we're back and all that. The last few weeks have been frightfully busy, and I'm afraid WoodMoor Village had to take the backseat. This semester, after I turned in my portfolio for Tenure, has become the busiest semester I've ever had on campus. It has been non-stop, plenty of deadlines, tons of service, developing a mindfulness group on campus, grading, grading, grading, and reading paper after paper, not to mention writing my own...
In order to stay mindful, or at least to stay practicing as mindfully as possible, something had to give. Unfortunately, it was WoodMoor Village that took the brunt of that retreat.
But, what ho, here we are again. Dashing off to a conference for most of next week, but ready to enter the turbulent seas of the blogosphere.
Not much to say really. It was a sort of mini-vacation even if I did not take a day off. The kind of vacation where you go nowhere but you have to take in order to keep the old onion from peeling completely. Perhaps it was much needed for you also, especially because my voice was getting pretty strident and strange. Well, as one of my favorite literary characters would say, ...“and if that doesn’t leave me without a stain on my character, I don’t know what it does leave me without a stain on!”
See you around!
